Reduced sailings on cross-Solent catamaran

WIGHTLINK will be running a reduced service on its catamaran service between Ryde and Portsmouth tomorrow (Tuesday) while essential maintenance is carried out on one of its vessels.

Wight Ryder II will be out of service until 4.40pm, when normal service will resume.

Until then, Wight Ryder I will sail at 15 minutes past the hour from Portsmouth Harbour and 47 minutes past the hour from Ryde Pier.

In addition, a charter vessel will be used on the 7.40am and 8.40am sailings from Portsmouth, and the 7.10am, 8.10am and 9.10am sailings from Ryde Pier.

A spokesman said: "We’d like to take this opportunity to apologise for the inconvenience caused by the unavoidable changes."

Wightlink SAVE your breath it happening on a weekly / daily basis.
Passengers now just turn up and hope they will cross sometime today.

What a are they allowed to continue this farce.
They are not FIT to run it any longer they should loose there licence.

The Hovercraft is much nicer nowadays .
