RESIDENTS living near a patch of open space which attracts graffiti and rubbish are being asked to air their views on the future of the site.
Lib Dem campaigner Wayne Hoban says the site is a triangular piece of land at the junction of Crescent Road and Palace Gates Road, Wood Green, is an eyesore when it should be an attractive focal point for the community.
Suggestions for the area so far have included new landscaping and flower beds, the incorporation of a bus stop bay to reduce traffic congestion in Palace Gates Road and the installation of benches.
Mr Hoban said: "Public open spaces such as this should be an asset to the local community rather than an eyesore. I will be working with local residents to ensure that the area is improved as soon as possible."
Residents wishing to air their views can contact Mr Hoban at Freepost, 250 Muswell hill Broadway or email triangle@ lynnefeatherstone.org
