COWES RNLI has been called out to an emergency following a collision between a RIB and a yacht which has taken place off the Isle of Wight this afternoon (Friday).
The collision occurred at about 2pm near Newtown.
*One person was recovered from the water, but was said to be safe and well according to a coastguard spokesman.
