HHH victory

Herne Hill Harriers (HHH) cross-country captain Ian Munt swept to victory at the Frank Harmer 10km road race last weekend and clinched the team prize in the process. His time of 32mins 1sec for the hilly course was enough to put him ahead of second placed Michael Boyle by 27 seconds. Paul Binkhorst's fifth confirmed HHH's title.

Match call-off

Streatham & Croydon's RFC's match at Old Brockleians was called off as the hosts were unable to raise a team. Streatham will be back in action for their final league match of the season on Saturday when they face Horsham at Frant Road. Kick-off 2.30pm.

Lead cheers

Dozens of would-be cheerleaders will converge at Crystal Place National Sports Centre next month for the first-ever Crown Jewels coaching clinic.
