A YACHT that was taking on water has been rescued by an Isle of Wight lifeboat today (Tuesday).
Cowes RNLI was called to the aid of the 35ft yacht at 11.50am after it began taking on water near Lepe Spit.
A Cowes RNLI spokesman said at about 1pm that the lifeboat was towing the yacht to the Hamble.
