Road closed due to works

A VENTNOR road will be closed for much of today (Wednesday) due to emergency road works.

According to Southern Vectis, which has had to divert its Route 3 service, Leeson Road will be closed from 9.30am to 4pm.

Clancy Docwra will be carrying out water main work on behalf of Southern Water.

The Route 3 service will operate via Victoria Road, Shanklin, Shanklin Road, Whiteley Bank, St Johns Road, Wroxall, Clarence Road and Newport Road in Upper Ventnor, then Ocean View Road, Mitchell Avenue and St Boniface Road to rejoin the normal journey at the bottom of Leeson Road. 

Buses from Ventnor towards Shanklin will operate the same diversion in the opposite direction.
