A SECTION of the B3401 middle road is scheduled to be closed for another week.
The road has been closed between Elm Lane, at the Calbourne crossroads, and Newbridge junction since Monday for urgent road repairs.
Access to Calbourne premises is maintained from the Elm Lane direction.
The closure has affected bus services, with the following services in operation until March 19, or until the road reopens:
• Depart Newbridge 8.20am to Carisbrooke School site and Newport Bus Station on schooldays.
• Depart Newbridge 9.30am to Newport Bus Station daily, Mondays to Saturdays.
• Depart Newport Bus Station 12.55pm to Newbridge daily, Mondays to Saturdays.
• Depart Newport Bus Station 15.35pm to Carisbrooke School site and Newbridge on schooldays.
The work is being carried out by Bardon Contracting for the Isle of Wight Council and diversions are in place.
