COMEDIAN Ross Noble was on the Isle of Wight today (Tuesday), filming for the second series of his TV show Freewheeling.
Ross, a regular on TV quiz shows 'Have I Got News For You' and 'QI', talked to fans and posed for photos in Union Street, Ryde.
The show follows his adventures as he spontaneously responds to tweets from fans all over the UK.
Speaking to the County Press, Ross said: "Somebody tweeted me and said that their grandma lived on the Island and that they couldn't find a florist to deliver carnations, so I bought some in Southampton and brought them over.
"She was rather surprised."
The adventures are completely unscripted. Ross was due to leave the Island this afternoon and head to Bournemouth with one Island fan travelling with him.
"Basically I go on adventures and people get sucked in.
"I got a tweet from this guy Joe, who's a mod and then, because I'm on a motorbike, I decided to do a recreation of the Mods vs. Rockers, with him, but by going down to the seafront to play Paper Scissors Stone.
"Now the plan is to take Joe to Bournemouth, meet up with a load more mods, and then we're gonna take them all to a big bike night in Bournemouth.
"We're gonna get as many mods and as many rockers as we can."
Freewheeling is due to be aired on Dave in January, but a final date has yet to be confirmed.
Ross will be coming back to the Island early next year with his stand-up show, 'Tangentleman', with a performance at Shanklin Theatre on January 22.
