Alan Scott struck gold at the British Junior Association North West Open championships and now has his sights set on conquering Europe.
The 21-year-old demolished the opposition at his first senior event in St Helens winning all six of his contests, five of them by ippon.
Now the Micklefield Judo Club member, who trains full-time at the Bisham Abbey academy, plans to take that form into his first international event of the calendar in Belgium tomorrow
