Eighteen teams from across the PC publishing industry emerged from their labs into the sunshine of the Addicks ground to battle it out for the Mesh Football Trophy, won last season by a team from Taxan Monitors.
A total of 52 games were played in the tournament and some fierce competition between rival magazines and suppliers made for some entertaining viewing.
Winner of the Golden Boot award was Angus Light, who secured a quarterfinal place for PC Pro magazine with some fabulous strikes. Player of the Tournament was Aaron Brown, representing PC Direct.
At the end of the day, the team with all the right components was PC Plus, who secured a 2-0 win past Real Time in a thrilling final.
Paul Kinsler, Mesh general manager, said: "The day was an enormous success. This year was particularly special for Mesh and Charlton and we wish them the best of luck in the Premiership."
Mesh discontinued their partnership with the Addicks after Red Bus Investments offered Charlton a new deal.
