PUPILS at a Northfleet junior school were allowed to go a Lille bit crazy by holding a week celebrating France.
There was nothing Tou-louse about the costumes on display at Shears Green Junior School in White Avenue, Northfleet, with Manet children taking an artistic theme to the day.
None of the children got Bord-eaux as they learnt about Gallic culture. The pupils tasted French food and listened to music from our neighbours across the Channel.
Teacher Mrs Julie Aspinall said there would Brie more theme weeks like this.
She said: “After this one was such a success I would put Monet on us holding another theme week to help the children learn about different cultures.”
