Saints legend helps raise £16,000 for Sophie

SOUTHAMPTON football legend Matt Le Tissier helped to raise £16,000 for Sophie Rolf’s KissyPuppy Appeal last night (Thursday) at a Sportsman’s Dinner.

Around 500 people attended the event at Cowes Yacht Haven, which was organised by the Isle of Wight Round Table, to raise money for Isle of Wight youngster Sophie, who has an inoperable brain tumour.

As well as a talk by Matt Le Tissier, who spent his entire footballing career at Saints, the evening including a silent auction and stand-up comedy by Russ Williams.
