DEALS to sell two former schools are closer following delegated decisions by the Isle of Wight Council today (Friday).

West Wight Middle School looks set to be sold to Spectrum Housing group after a decision was taken to treat it as a special purchaser.

It hopes to build affordable housing on the site.

The decision is subject to a further report to confirm the council is achieving best consideration for the disposal.

A decision was also taken today (Friday) to sell Swanmore Middle School to the highest bidder, conditional on Department for Education approval.

dear god..we heard all that **** when you were the BNP leader on the Ilsand...Pan Estate to be home to 20,000 immigrants....scare tactics and lies which led to your humiliation at the polls. We need 20,000 new homes on the Island for Islanders, let alone immuigrants like you and I.
