ATHLETICS: Epsom and Ewell Harriers' girls narrowly missed out on winning their latest Lily B match on Sunday.

Despite some top performances, including a hat- rick of wins in the 100m, 200m, and long jump from Natalie Brant, Harriers lost out by five points to winners Aldershot.

TENNIS: Tennis stars at Epsom College are celebrating after winning the Rootham Cup for Surrey schools.

After winning the Surrey Pairs earlier this season and reaching the last 16 of the Youll Cup at Wimbledon, Epsom defeated Weybridge's St George's School by 3-0 last weekend to lift the trophy.

ROLLER HOCKEY: Banstead Sports Centre is running Roller Hockey lessons on Monday nights for skating mad youngsters.

TENNIS: Ewell Tennis Club is offering intensive coaching courses during the summer holidays for adults and juniors.

Coaching starts at the end of July for juniors and adult beginner sessions kick-off in August. The courses are open to members and non-members alike.

SOFTBALL: Sutton Braves fought back from 0-6 down to beat to the Panthers 22-7 in the Redhill and District Softball League on Saturday.

Highlights included two home runs from the Sutton Softball Club's Pat King and a debut home run from Vanessa O'Shea.
