A SEARCH for a missing woman has been launched along a stretch of Isle of Wight coast today (Tuesday).
The Coastguard and police have all been involved in the search of the Bembridge area.
It was initially believed the RNLI was involved in the search, however a spokesman confirmed they were not involved at this stage.
*Shortly after 2.30pm, a police spokesman said: "A high risk vulnerable missing woman has been found alive on Culver Cliff in the past hour.
"The woman was detained under the Mental Health Act and is being taken to hospital."
