POLICE have confirmed they are continuing to search for a third suspect believed to have been involved in a conspiracy to kill a man on the Isle of Wight.

Two people appeared before Isle of Wight Magistrates this morning (Saturday), charged with conspiracy to murder following a brutal attack on a man in Newport Street, Ryde, last November.

Louise Spence, 26, of Green Street, Ryde, and Anthony Booty, 49, of Preston Close, Ryde, were charged last night (Friday) following an assault on a 51-year-old man in November

They appeared before magistrates this morning, when the case was adjourned until April 10 at Winchester Crown Court. Both were remanded in custody.

The court was told police are still hunting for a third suspect, Henry Thomas Henderson, and could consider issuing a European Arrest Warrant in case he had fled abroad.
