Season’s greetings!

Flt Lt Andrew Dobson is serving in Afhganistan.

Flt Lt Andrew Dobson
Andrew is in the RAF on deployment in Afghanistan, based at Camp Bastion as OC Medical Emergency Response Team. This is his second deployment this year with MERT.
Andrew has also served with 212 and 202 field hospitals at Camp Bastion with the TA in 2007 and 2009.
He now lives in Warwick, but went to school and college in Newport.
His parents now live in Hale Common, Arreton, and they said; "Pam, David, Robert and friends send all their love and best wishes for a happy and safe Christmas and new year. Looking forward to your safe return in 2013."

Ssgt Daniel Groves, Air Command, RAF High Wycombe
Danny wrote: " I am about to finish service of 24 years in the army and my wife, Hayley, has followed me around for at least 18 years of that. We are childhood sweethearts and this fantastic woman has managed to raise two of the most fantastic children nearly all by herself.
"More recently she has suffered the personal loss of two close friends and a personal medical issue, so last year was extremely tough for her.
"I have operationally toured every second year for almost the duration of my career and this year is the first I have been able to give a full guarantee I am home. She has suffered more alone time than was necessary over the years and soon in the next few months, I will be home forever. I’d like to say to her:
"Hayley, you have stuck with me throughout my career and this year is the first of many that we can celebrate Christmas together! I love you truly, madly and deeply. Merry Christmas, my love xxx"

All the best to everyone who is not with their families this Christmas, doing a tough job we've asked of you. Regardless of the politics, keep your heads down and your power dry!

Wishing all our brave troops a very merry Christmas and hope that 2013 brings you all much HEALTH, wealth and especially HAPPINESS and pray that we see you ALL at home in GREAT BRITAIN and protecting your own country for a change instead of in ILLEGAL WARS
