The recent accident at Peterborough Road's pinch point is strong evidence that the traffic-calming scheme is far from complete and I hope that it will convince the council that more needs to be done.
Certain parts of the council have done a poor job looking after the Hill and it is disappointing to hear the Labour Party road safety chairman dismiss any further discussion and state 'we have spent enough time on Harrow on the Hill'.
Combined with ill-informed nocturnal traffic wardens, the engineering embarrassment of the traffic scheme implementation and farcically incomplete consultations, the council not only needs to spend more time, but needs to listen to residents.
Next thing you know they'll be passing applications for strip clubs!
