Secretary of State Eric Pickles visits the Isle of Wight

THE SECRETARY of State for Communities and Local Government, Eric Pickles, is visiting the Isle of Wight today (Wednesday).

Mr Pickles will be meeting with business and education leaders as well as senior figures from the Isle of Wight Council including chief executive Steve Beynon.

During his visit, Mr Pickles will be introduced to members of the Isle of Wight Community Bus Partnership and will also go to Cowes Enterprise College.

Met education reps? Not the teachers or parents or children? Bet they didn't mention the bad results and shambles of reorganisation, or the number of schools with bad recent ofsted inspections!!
