SMASHED glass bottles caused disruption for some drivers this morning (Monday).
The bottles fell from a milk lorry on the sliproad leading on to the Newport-bound carriageway of the dual carriageway.
The slip road was closed while a team from the Isle of Wight Council cleared the debris and police also attended. It is believed the bottles fell from the vehicle after a door slid open.
No-one was hurt in the incident and the road was due to re-open fully by 11.45am.
