The blazing car minutes before firefighters arrive in Mortimer Road, just off Orpington High Street
A BLAZING car torched by vandals has been caught on camera by a News Shopper photographer just minutes after it was set alight.
Fire officers arrived in minutes to put the blaze out which happened on Orpington High Street on Sunday at 7.30pm.
Snapper Tim Jones said: “I was on my way to a job when I saw a plume of black smoke.
“When I went to investigate I saw the burning wreck, it was quite a blaze.”
He added: “A fire engine arrived in minutes and it didn't take them long to put it out.”
Police are investigating the fire.
