What possible justification is there to cancel ferries?

Jenny yes apparently that was their intention. They announced it yesterday afternoon. I can hear the trains from home, but didn't hear any during the night. The first one was on time ;-)

Appreciate you're doing a grand job with a lot of info to pass on, but your school info is not up to date. I'm sure most schools are contacting parents and guardians but I wouldn't rely on the info on the link on this page :)

I am just wondering if Island line plan to run a train up and down the track all night to ensure no cancellations or delays in the morning.....I say this because they are still running and it is 1:27am! And they appear noisier in the stillness of the night.

.
I see Wightlink have jumped on the bandwagon as well and cancelled a ferry this afternoon. Quite a few questions about that, but could it just be, perhaps, maybe, well just perhaps that they want an Arctic Convoy Medal as well now one has been issued?

"Gritters are currently on another run but Isle of Wight Coucil warn just because a road is gritted doesn't mean it may be free of ice and snow."
So send out the snow ploughs as well then to clear the snow.
