SNOW could be on its way to the Isle of Wight on Thursday, the Met Office has warned.& amp;lt;br />The Met Office issued a yellow 'be aware’ warning today (Tuesday) for heavy rain, which could, although it is unlikely, turn to snow in parts of southern England, including the Island.
In the event of snow, power and other utilities could be affected according to the Met Office.

In an update today (Wednesday), the Met Office said there was a slight increase in the risk of snow.
The Met Office said: "Associated heavy rain and strong winds may prove additional hazards. As skies clear on Thursday night there is also potential for widespread ice to form quite rapidly on untreated surfaces."
