On a cold, dry day with no wind, Old Colfeians met a Lydney side totally different from the one they beat at Horn Park in November, and lost 56-9.
Regretably, Colfes' first-time tackling deserted them and Lydney took full advantage with 10 tries.
Colfes' only reply was three well-taken penalties by Matt Townsend.
It appears that Colfes may be feeling the strain of being the only truly amateur side in this league and regularly playing against either full or part-time professionals whose fitness is generally higher.
On Saturday, Colfes celebrate the official opening of their new first team pitch with a league game against Clifton, kick-off 2.30pm.
