Radlett surprised the home side within the first 13 minutes after two striikes by Henry Harvey-Smith.
Two minutes later Berkhamstead scored their first goal and grabbed the equaliser on 22 minutes.
Radlett answered the Raiders' retort with a third goal and hat trick for Harvey-Smith on 24 minutes.
In the second half Radlett's Adam Kosky found his usual form, and scored from outside the box with a volley, to make it four.
Then James Franks added to his tally this season with two goals before Berkhamstead restored some of their dignity with two goals in the last minute of an overlong second half.
