Farnham Town 1

Hampton Reserves 1

This annual fixture was keenly fought, but the Beavers will be wondering how they failed to win by several clear goals.

The first half had little of note, apart from two long range shots from Ramoni Giwa which fizzed just wide. John Crouch made a fine goal line clearance after a low shot had beaten Tony Wells.

But Beavers completely dominated the second period, spurning chance after chance. They won a penalty on 54 minutes when David Omigie was obstructed in the box. This should have been an indirect free kick and it has to be said that justice was done when Kevin Duffell's spot kick was palmed away superbly by the keeper. Totally against the run of play Farnham scored with a powerful header at a corner on 75 minutes. However, Hampton equalised eight minutes from time when Mark Dalziel beat the keeper to the ball and lobbed home.

Hampton Reserves: Tony Wells, Peter Barnsby, Kevin Duffell, Paul Cook, Chris Fossey, Ramoni Giwa, Darren Forte, Tony Quinton, Prince Abu-Appiah, Luke Cheesman
