SOUTHERN Vectis has launched an investigation into a crash between a double decker bus and a car on Brading Road on Saturday.


Emergency services were called to the scene around 2.30pm and one person had to be cut free from the car by firefighters.

Two people were taken to St Mary's Hospital with minor injuries.

Southern Vectis general manager, Richard Tyldsley, said: "I can confirm that one of our vehicles was involved in a collision with a car on Saturday, and minor injuries were reported.

"The safety of our drivers, passengers and other road users is our priority, and we are carrying out a full investigation to establish the cause of the incident.& ;quot;
