VOLUNTEERS are being sought to help marshall events for Sport Relief.

YMCA Isle of Wight is set to host three Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Miles all starting from YMCA Winchester House, Shanklin, on Sunday, March 25, as part of a series of events taking place across the country.

Co-ordinator Kelly Matthews said: "By volunteering just a few hours at this event, you’ll be helping to bring the entire nation together to get active, raise cash and change lives.

"There are lots of marshalling roles to fill, including an event marshall, medal/water distribution, registration assistants and car park attendants."

If you would like to become a marshall for the Shanklin to Sandown Sports Relief Mile event, contact Kelly on 01983 861076 or e-mail kelly.matthews@ymca-fg.org
