An ambulance team and police on scene at St Mary's roundabout, near Newport.

EMERGENCY services were called to St Mary's roundabout, Newport, yesterday afternoon (Monday) following a traffic incident.
A witness reported seeing a white Mitsubishi Colt on the verge off the Cowes exit of the roundabout.
*Police said today (Tuesday) that the Mitsubishi had been involved in a collision with a Ford Ka and that it was understood the drivers had exchanged details at the scene.
A spokesman confirmed one person was taken to hospital as a precaution. St Mary's Hospital said the man was released from hospital later the same day.
