TALENTED youngsters from schools across the Island have been performing impressively in this year’s Global Rock Challenge.
The Island has had several success stories at Global Rock in recent years and Sandown High currently holds the national championship crown.
St Saviour’s RC Primary School, Totland Bay, has continued the Island’s winning trend, finishing first in the Junior Rock Challenge category, with a performance of Noah...a Man of Faith.
It’s a story about resisting peer pressure and standing up for what you believe in.
The 56-strong team, with 44 performers, took to the stage at Southampton Guildhall and took overall first place, receiving the Hampshire Police Authority award for staging.
The next set of performances take place at Portsmouth Guildhall in April.
