Stars remember Anthony

A GLITTERING evening at Cineworld, Newport, heralded the start of the second Minghella Film Festival on Friday night.

The red carpet was rolled out as Island based film maker, Bruce Webb's first feature film The Be All and End All was screened along with Love You More – directed by Sam Taylor-Wood.

They cite the late Anthony Minghella as a massive influence on their work.

The three-day film festival is being staged in honour or Mr Minghella, who died two years ago.

Among the stars coming to the festival this year are actress Diana Quick and legendary British star, John Hurt, who will be giving a talk at Quay Arts on Sunday.
