AN ARTIST, who has created a niche running a treasure hunt-style game encouraging people to find his hand-painted miniature figures, is staging one on the Isle of Wight.
Roy Tyson was due to arrive on the Isle of Wight from Essex today (Thursday) to set up his latest Roy’s People, coinciding with his visit to the Isle of Wight Garlic Festival.
The 26 year old, of Stanford-le-Hope, who specialises in creating tiny installations and producing limited edition prints, is positioning his tiny, hand-painted, characters at 13 locations around the Island for people to find and keep.
Each figure has a tag detailing a story behind it.
Picture clues will be posted on the Roy’s People Facebook page throughout the weekend until Sunday — and they will remain there until they are all discovered.
All the finders are encouraged to post details on the Facebook page.
