THE worlds of art and fashion came together at Carisbrooke High School when students strutted their stuff on the catwalk to raise funds for a charity which supports people suffering from hair loss.
Btec fashion students joined forces with GCSE and A-level art students during the packed evening, dubbed When Art Met Fashion.
Around 120 students had their work modelled by their peers. The evening also featured works of art produced by the students.
The evening helped to raise awareness of the charity My New Hair, which provides support and advice through a national network of salons, which give a wig-styling service for people who suffer from cancer and hair loss.
Teacher of fashion, Prue Lawrence, said: "I am incredibly proud of the hard work of my students who presented a very professional evening."
Headteacher, David Jeapes, added: "Fashion has really taken off at Carisbrooke High and has now become one of our most popular subjects with an excellent pass rate.
"It was fantastic to see so many students enjoying showing off their work and we are delighted so many of them have decided to stay on into the sixth form to continue their fashion studies."
