Sun set to shine on Bestival

Forecasters are predicting a sunny weekend for Bestival on the Isle of Wight.

BLUE skies and sunshine look set for this weekend's Bestival.

According to the Met Office's Bestival forecast, campers arriving tomorrow for the Isle of Wight event will be greeted by sunshine and sunny intervals with highs of 17C, although they will need to wrap up warm as the temperature will fall to 9C first thing on Friday morning.

The temperature looks set to increase with highs of 20C on Friday thanks to blue skies and light winds.

Saturday starts clear and cool, but temperatures will soon rise with more sunshine and highs of 20C. A warmer night follows with lows of 14C.

Sunday sees the sunshine continue with a little more cloud first thing in the morning and at night and highs again of 20C, but with a stronger breeze.

I think it is time the IOW had its own seasons, unlike the rest of the world where there is Spring Summer Autumn Winter, we could just have two, and call them Winter, and September.
