COMPANIES from around Watford joined together for a sponsored bowling night at Woodside's Hollywood Bowl to raise money for Save the Children.
A total of £763.95 was donated to the charity to support its work in the UK and more than 70 countries around the world.
The charity's area manager Ms Sarah Tedder was delighted the evening was such a success. She said. "We could not have had better support from the people at Hollywood Bowl and all the local companies that took part and donated raffle prizes.
"This money will make a huge difference to children around the world. We were able to give out information on our work; we are on the look-out for new volunteers."
