THE improving care given to emergency patients in Harrow has been recognised with an award for the London Ambulance Service (LAS).
The award recognises the progress that has been made in the treatment of cardiac patients and the clinical telephone advice given to 999 callers.
It also praises an electronic link between the LAS and Metropolitan Police which enables direct contact between the two services.
