DRESSING the Table, a charity event organised by cookery writer Amy Willcock and held at the George Hotel, Yarmouth, has raised more than £600 to help young people supported by the Prince's Trust on the Island.
Tables were decorated on themes that ranged from medieval feast to car boot chic, and the display was followed by an illustrated talk by Michael Beaumont, a former executive of the National Trust, on historical artefacts in English country homes. Lunch was also served at the hotel to more than 50 guests who supported the event.
