Tasered man remanded

A MAN who was tasered by Isle of Wight police on Sunday has been charged with affray and burglary.

Tony John Bristow, 37, of North Road, Shanklin, Isle of Wight, was charged with both offences on Monday night after being questioned by officers. He has been arrested following a disturbance at a house in North Road, Shanklin on Sunday.

He appeared before Isle of Wight magistrates yesterday (Tuesday 11) and was remanded in custody until January 9.
