Budding actors delved deep into the bubbling pot of youth theatre when they performed their own version of the Shakespeare classic ,, Macbeth.
Members of the Finchley Youth Theatre, based in High Road, East Finchley, toiled and troubled over the production at the Cochrane Theatre in Holborn earlier this month. The youngsters aged between 12 and 15 worked alongside professional London-based company Theatre Unlimited to produce the short drama on the theme of the classic tragedy.
The event was part of Theatre Unlimited's Take The Stage project which involves working with theatres and community groups across the country to entice more people onto the stage.
The 20-minute piece of movement drama was followed by a full-length production of Shakespeare's Macbeth by Theatre Unlimited.
Finchley Youth Theatre is open to people aged nine to 20, and gives young people the chance to act and produce plays based on their level of commitment. Call 020 8883æ9957 for more details.
