A SHANKLIN antique shop which received special visitors earlier in the year is set to feature on television this week.

Shanklin Collectors Centre (SCC) was visited by Charles Hanson of BBC 2’s early-evening favourite Antiques Road Trip back in March.

Now the programme is set to be aired on BBC2 tomorrow (Tuesday) at 5.15pm.

Charles was particularly fascinated by the shop’s coin collection and purchased a small number of coins for the show. Island Antiques, Ryde, and Chale Antiques, Chale, were also visited, according to the show’s producers.

SCC will again feature on television next month on Celebrity Antiques Road Trip, on November 15.
