WIGHT Agents, the Island’s own property portal, has a new look as well as a second home on the County Press’s website.
In addition to having a slicker new site of its own, Wight Agents is now the property search employed on www.iwcp.co.uk, the Island’s premier news and information site.
There are now two ways to find out about the thousands of homes to buy and rent, and access details of the commercial property and land available on the Isle of Wight.
You can go straight to the new-look, easy-to-use Wight Agents home page www.wightagents.co.uk, or use the property search, powered by Wight Agents, on the County Press website.
So, what will be different from the existing wightagents website?
Well, firstly there is a new look, pioneered by Matrix Create, the Wootton-based web designers behind the Isle of Wight Festival and County Press websites, with properties showing floor plans, street views and Google Maps as well as a strong photograph selection.
Secondly, there will be the massive 'click-power’ given by the association with the County Press online — the CP site delivers around 100,000 unique users and 1.5 million page impressions every month, as web users search our site for the best in Island news, sport, what’s on and information.
And thirdly, there is the new, highly visible logo, designed by Matrix and adapted so as not to take it too far away from the original logo. This will be used by all member agents in marketing your property.
Property sellers and buyers will find Wight Agents high up the search engine lists and a search for "Isle of Wight Property" conducted on May 27, placed it above Right Move and in the top three on Google.
Nick Julian, one of the Wight Agents board members, said: "This is clearly now the best place to search for Isle of Wight property."
And his fellow board member Jamie Busby added: "The simple, yet refined search, the thousands of Island homes and businesses on offer and the clean look make it the best way to search for an Island property online."
