THE Elderberries will be performing their own show 'Sounds of the Sixties' at Freshwater Memorial Hall, on Saturday at 7.30pm.

The show will include lots of new songs, and some old favourites, highlighting the popular hits and artists of the 60s.

There will be solos from each of the members, Bob Everson, Janet Haire, Dorothy Green, Mark Handel, Steve French and Sandra Aldridge.

There will also be songs featuring the whole group with Toby Elliott on drums and percussion. There will also be a guest appearance by Bertie Everson.

Proceeds will be going towards the minority instrument bursary scheme at The Island Free School in memory of Barry Brooke, founder member of the Elderberries.

Barry had the most beautiful tenor voice and appeared in many local shows but passed away in November 2014.

Tickets, £7, are on sale at The Cabin, Freshwater and Everson's, Totland, or on the door.
