Orpington was put into bat first on the first day's play and could only reach 111 all out as Bickley bowler Ryan Roffe took impressive figures of 6-25.

But Bickley could not do much better when it was put into bat and was bowled out by Orpington for only 98 with Neil Bradford taking 5-34.

Orpington reached 2-0 in its second innings and the match, which looks likely to end in a result, will conclude on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Bromley put up a good display as it travelled south to take on Folkestone in their two-day match.

Put into bat, Bromley hit 156-4, Andy Clark top scoring with an innings of 45.

At the close of play, Folkestone had reached 81-1 with Vaughn Williams on an unbeaten 52.

Beckenham travelled to St Lawrence and was bowled out for 123, Darren Scott impressed with 4-33.

And St Lawrence looked impressive with the bat as Simon Williams and Scott hit 71 and 50 not out to take its total to 129-0 at the close of play.

The match finishes on Saturday.
