MORE than £3,000 was raised at the Wessex Cancer Trust spring fete.
Held at Freshwater Court, for the fourth year, the event set a new fundraising record as people flocked to enjoy the range of stalls and sunny weather.
Organisers said they were grateful to Hilary and Chris Jarman, for sharing their garden for the occasion and helping the trust continue its work supporting Island cancer patients.
