THREE men have been arrested after a man was assaulted on Parkhurst Road, Newport.
Police were called to the scene shortly after 4pm yesterday (Sunday), having received a report of an assault on a 39-year-old man.
The man suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries and remains at St Mary's Hospital, police said.
A police spokesperson said: "Three men, a 19-year-old from Cowes, a 26-year-old from Cowes, and a 20-year-old from Newport, have been arrested in connection with this incident and are in police custody."
