A strong Rosemedian defence ensured that top Premier league team Pendley did not run away with a cricket score when the teams met in the Len Smith's Lacrosse Premiership.
With Pendley out in force and spurred on by ex-Eng- land captain Lois Richardson the amateurs from Rosemedians had a tough battle, eventually losing 14-1.
Pendley showed their dominance and pace with a goal in the first few minutes.
Rosemedians' captain Charlie Dawson was delighted with the team's performance which was so promising.
The next Premier League match for Rosemedians will be against Motspur on Sunday, November 1, at Motspur Park, at 11am.
