David in fact it's very rare for the papers to be late due to bad weather, they are brought by TNT lorries from the presses in Hertfordshire and over on the Wightlink ferry in the early hours and travel from Fishbourne to Menzies Distribution at Ryde. There they are packed and loaded onto vans and sent on their way to the newsagents to be on sale within a few hours of being printed. Wightlink almost always sail and the Menzies' people work a minor miracle while you and I are asleep - neither fire nor floods get in their way!

Trees are bad for trains, in the past they used to not let them grow by the railways, I have thousands of pictures to prove it.So one can say told you so, quite respectably indeed.
