TV ad filmed on ferry

The advert being filmed on the Wightlink ferry.

A WIGHTLINK ferry has been used as an unlikely set for a new TV advert by insurance company

The advert shows BRIAN the Robot aboard St Faith, crossing in their cars on the Fishbourne to Portsmouth route.

Chief officer Graeme Bissett said: "It was only 15 seconds, not 15 minutes, of fame — then we were all upstaged by a robot.

"That's showbusiness, I guess, but a lot of fun."

But Lee, not all readers are glued to this site 24/7.
6-hrs as a casual reader versus 7-days as a reporter..... Mmm.

@Mike Crowe.
It tells me that Red Funnel don't run services often enough.
Do I get a prize?

Stephen I was on the 10.30 Red Funnel East Cowes to Southampton

Everyday Tea £1.35
9oz Black Coffee £1.75
Bacon Sandwich £3.70

2 x Teas, 1 x Coffee and 3 x Toasty Bacon Sandwiches FRESHLY MADE =
= £15.55

The sun was shining, the food and sandwiches superb.

Who needs Wightlink?

The boat was packed. What does that say?

At least they were allowed to stay in their cars and not have to "Proceed to the passenger lounge immediately" to buy cups of coffee for £3.00 each!

Shame that annoying robot didn't go overboard.

Probably second only in annoyance to that idiotic moped riding pigeon. Still imagine it being taken out with a shotgun.

Funky pigeon dot BLAM!!! :-D

Hope people don't know it's an iow ferry in some ways as the chap in the advert is apparently as sick as a dog though the sea is calm enough

I reckon Compare the Market should do an advert on Red Funnel.
