Harrow-on-the-Hill residents have formed an action group to fight traffic chaos in the area.
The new committee calls itself the Roxeth Corner Traffic Action Group -- RC Tag -- and has put the Roxeth traffic lights scheme in South Harrow at the top of its agenda.
"There is nothing else specific we are campaigning about at the moment, but we'll be targeting general traffic problems in and around the Hill area," said group secretary Les Holley, who lives in West Street.
The committee has ten members, including Labour councillor Huw Davies, who, with Mr Holley, presented to Harrow Council a petition with more than 2,500 signatures protesting against the new scheme.
Sue McKee, of Shaftesbury Avenue is chairing the group. Anyone wishing to support it can call Mr Holley on 0181 423 6746.
