TV Licensing officers will be avidly following the London Marathon on Sunday in a bid to seek out licence dodgers.
Officers trap a high proportion of the 3,500 evaders they catch each month while they watch national sporting events.
Paul Johnston of TV Licensing said: 'Events like the London Marathon present TV Licence officers with the perfect opportunity to pay unsuspecting evaders a visit.'
